am protesting the Blaine County-wide surcharge for the redundant distribution line to residents of
Ketchum, Sun Valley and N.Ketchum.
This is an inequitable surcharge for lower income residents whose energy bills are already
burdensome. Lower income houses use less energy than wealthy resort users.Those users should
be responsible to pay for their"redundant line"necessitated by their inordinate energy
requirements.
Some of those homes use as much electricity as a hotel or strip mall.Why would low income
families as far away as Carey be required to pay for this?
The PUC is mandated to protect citizens from unfair rate requests by power corporations.This is not
being done in this case.
