AVU-E-23-01 AND AVU-G-23-01.
On August 31, 2023, the Commission issued Order No. 35909 approving an all-party
Stipulation and Settlement ("Settlement") in Case Nos. AVU-E-23-01 and AVU-G-23-01. The
terms of the Settlement established a two-year rate plan where Avista Corporation ("Company")
would be allowed to increase in its rates and charges for electric and natural gas service in Idaho
effective September 1, 2023, and September 1, 2024.
On June 28, 2024, the Company submitted proposed tariffs establishing new rates and
charges effective September 1, 2024, as approved by Commission Order No. 35909. Staff has
reviewed the Company's proposed updates to its tariffs and confirmed the proposed updates
comply with the Settlement approved by Commission Order No. 35909.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission approve the Company's proposed tariffs and
schedules filed on June 28, 2024 with an effective date of September 1, 2024.
