Even as early as April 17,we were operating under guidance from customer generation on using pump size in place of peak demand for this project. Now, I'd like to add my two cents here. I know you're the go-between guy on all of this and likely don't have decision-making authority. I do know, however, that customer generation originally checked with regulatory to make sure the pump size in place of peak demand was admissible. The situation the Young's are in right now is one entirely of Idaho Power's making. I know you and I don't have a good working relationship yet, but you can talk to anyone on the customer generation team, and they'll tell you that AgriPower Solar tries very hard to do things by the Idaho Power book. We're not one of those solar installers who throws up systems then asks Idaho Power to accommodate our customers after the fact. We've been careful to work with Idaho Power on the more than 140 agribusiness projects we've installed in Idaho. From my perspective, I'm really struggling to figure out why Idaho Power is deliberately stonewalling the Young's projects when we're talking about approval for one more project that is only 46kW larger than peak demand. I appreciate the good working relationship we've had with Idaho Power. I believe that what we do for Idaho Power customers is in keeping with Idaho Power's own renewable energy objectives. I want to see that relationship continue to thrive. So, I ask that Idaho Power sign off on this site for the Young's, so they can proceed with their projects with the understanding that any future projects they wish to pursue will be governed by whatever tariff is in place at that time. My dad sent an updated 220kW application (see forwarded email below) on May 31 st. He received an auto-generated confirmation from the VM_CG email address that the application had been received and that they would get back to him within two business days. When I try to forward my dad's original email now, I get an error and the PDF doesn't open up. If the CG team had that same issue,we never knew it, as they never reached out to us. I rescanned the original and am attaching it to this email. Just to reemphasize, the 220kW application is within the parameters of the tariff(the pump HP is 275), and that sizing was confirmed as being allowed by the Customer Generation team in emails I referenced previously.
