I think we need a straightforward explanation how Section 6 only applies to customers without historical demand when there's no mention of it in that section.Sufficient confirmation,at least for our part, is a very clear paper trail within the tariff itself that explicitly states Section 6 only applies to no-demand history situations. I'm also still unclear how Idaho Powerjustifies"application approved in error"when the client spent literally hundreds of thousands of dollars based on prior approvals. Idaho Power created this situation by first sending an email to me indicating Section 6 as a way to use pump size instead of peak demand for net metered system sizing and second approving an application based on pump size then attempting to rescind approval. How does Idaho Power propose to remedy this situation? Because there is historical billing information at each of these service points, Idaho Power will evaluate the maximum demand as follows, which is consistent with Schedule 84: "The Generation Facility must have a total nameplate rating equal to or less than the greater of: (a) the greatest monthly Billing Demand established during the most recent 12-month period at the time of applying for interconnection, which includes and ends with the most recent Billing Period, or (b) 100 kW." As that relates to the four applications for interconnection that have been submitted, please note the following maximize size for each: Pump Max Requested Notes Historical System Size kW 0403 (ID 174 200 Max system size allowed 21027) under the tariff is 174kW. The existing transformer is 150 kW, so the maximum allowable size for an on- site generation system without requiring upgrades is 165 kW. 0302 (ID 168 200 Application needs to be 21036) resubmitted; max system size allowed under the tariff is 168 kW. No upgrades needed to Idaho Power facilities to accommodate. 0902 (ID XX 100 System approved for 21029) interconnection as submitted 1601 (ID 136 120 System approved for 21028) interconnection as submitted You have previously inquired about the applicability of Section 6(ii) and I can confirm that section is only applicable when a customer does not have a historical billing demand available for determination. My apologies for the application that was approved in error on 5/10/24 for pump 0302 (ID 21036). After further review and as communicated on 5/24/24, the max system size allowed for this application is 168 kW.
