Second Production Request of the Commission Staff to Idaho Power Company.
Due to the collectively voluminous confidential and non-confidential information
provided in response to data requests in this case, the Company is posting the
attachments to these requests to the secure FTP site to allow parties to view the
requested information remotely unless otherwise noted in the response. Because certain

COMES NOW, Idaho Power Company ("Idaho Power" or "Company"), and in
response to the Second Production Request of the Commission Staff ("Commission" or
"Staff") to Idaho Power Company dated June 21, 2023, herewith submits the following
information:
IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S RESPONSE TO THE SECOND PRODUCTION REQUEST OF THE
COMMISSION STAFF TO IDAHO POWER - 1
REQUEST FOR PRODUCTION NO. 5: Please provide an Excel spreadsheet with
formulas intact and enabled showing all capital projects that make up the $860,366,584
of Capital Project Cost the Company is proposing for recovery in this case. For each
project, please include the following:
a. Plant Account Description (Such as "Intangible Plant", "Hydro Production Plant",
etc. as shown in Larkin's Workpaper No. 3, page 1);
b. Project Type Description (As shown in Larkin's Workpaper No. 3, page 8— Column
2);
c. Project ID/Unique Project Identifier;
d. Project Name/Title;
e. Detailed Project Description;
f. Business Need;
g. Actual Project Start Date;
h. Anticipated/Actual In-Service Date;
i. Budgeted Cost by Year;
j. Annual Actual Project Cost to Date (Broken out by year);
k. Cost Benefit Analysis Completed (Yes/No);
I. Request for Proposal Completed (Yes/No);
m. Wildfire Mitigation Related (Yes/No); and
n. Grant Funding Awarded (Yes/No).
RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR PRODUCTION NO. 5: Due to the voluminous
nature of this request and following discussions with Commission Staff, Idaho Power
provides the following information in response to this request.

Please see the Response to Request for Production No. 5 — Confidential
Attachment for a list of all capital projects that have been placed in-service during the
January 1, 2024, through May 31, 2024, time period. The list includes requested items
(b) through (h) above and is summarized by Budget ID. Each Budget ID includes the
work order cost detail that supports the capital project. Once a Budget ID audit sample is
provided by Commission Staff, Idaho Power will supplement this response with parts (a)
and (i) through (n) above for the sample.

and/or have been awarded. For each grant referenced, please provide the following:

h. Funding Received to Date; and
i. How are these funds being applied in the GRC?

Company's Response to Request for Production No. 5. Once a Budget ID audit sample
is provided by Commission Staff, Idaho Power will supplement this response with the
requested information for the selected sample.

REQUEST FOR PRODUCTION NO. 7: Please provide internal and external audit
reports from 2018-2024 related to capital projects including: planning, execution, and
accounting.
RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR PRODUCTION NO. 7: See below for a list of
operational or Sarbanes-Oxley ("SOX") audits completed during the 2018-2024 time
period. The audit reports related to capital projects for Idaho Power for the period are
listed with corresponding page numbers to the supporting file, Response to Request for
Production No. 7 — Confidential Attachment. Please note, only audits directly related to
capital projects have been included. Further, as noted below while operational audits for
both the North Valmy Power Plant ("Valmy") and the Jim Bridger Power Plant ("Bridger")
have been included, the Company's request in this case does not include incremental
Valmy or Bridger investments.
Audits of internal controls related to capital projects are performed on a rotational
basis as part of complying with SOX requirements. The related SOX processes are Fixed
Assets Capital Work Orders ("FACW"), Fixed Assets Month-End Processing ("FAME"),
Fixed Assets Depreciation and Amortization, Financial Closing Process, and Entity-Wide
Internal Controls. Note, audit reports and management responses are only issued for
SOX internal control audits in the event of a finding(s). As of the date of this response, no
SOX testing has been completed in 2024 therefore there are no resulting audit reports.
Finally, the Company has not specifically engaged external auditors to perform
audits related to capital projects for the audit period, except as part of the annual
integrated audit of the Company's financial statements and internal controls over financial

reporting performed by the Company's principal independent registered public accounting
firm, Deloitte & Touche LLP.
