SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER'S APPLICATION
FOR APPROVAL OF $62.4 MILLION ECAM DEFERRAL; CASE NO.
PAC-E-24-05.
BACKGROUND
On April 1, 2024, PacifiCorp dba Rocky Mountain Power("Company") applied for
authorization to adjust its rates under the Energy Cost Adjustment Mechanism ("ECAM"). The
Company sought an order approving approximately $62.4 million in ECAM deferred costs and a
10.5 percent increase to Electric Service Schedule No. 94, Energy Cost Adjustment ("Schedule
94"). The Company requested its proposed adjustment be processed by Modified Procedure and
become effective on June 1, 2024.
On May 31, 2024, having reviewed the record, the Commission issued Order No. 36207,
approving the Company's Application in part. Specifically, the Commission disallowed recovery
of costs the Company incurred to comply with the Washington Climate Commitment Act and
authorized a revised ECAM deferral amount of $60,093,960 for the deferral period beginning
January 1, 2023,through December 31, 2023. In its Order,the Commission directed the Company
to submit a Compliance filing within 15 days to include a revised Schedule No. 94 tariff reflecting
the amounts approved by the Commission.
On June 6, 2024, the Company submitted a compliance filing in response to Order No.
36207.

STAFF REVIEW
Staff reviewed the Company's updated Schedule 94 tariff included in the compliance
filing and believes that the tariff reflects the rates ordered by the Commission. Order No. 36207
at 13.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission approve Electric Service Schedule No. 94 — Energy
Cost Adjustment tariff submitted by the Company on June 6, 2024, as filed, with an effective date
of June 1, 2024.
COMMISSION DECISION
