Comment: "RE: 7.25% proposed increase on residential customers
I installed solar panels on my house in 2020 because I wanted to do my part to ease the ability to
provide power when consumption is high,to keep my power bills low and to help, even minimally, in the
advance of climate disasters caused by humanity.. Recently, Idaho Power increased their residential rates
- not just for power users, but for solar power users,too.
Part of the appeal of solar was to offset over time the amount of the upfront costs. With these price
increases, Idaho Power is barring many people from installing solar. My rates increased and the only way
I can bring them back down is by spending another$4k to install a power collection unit. This makes me
angry. I already spent a lot of money to get the initial solar panels installed.
I understand that with the significant and ever-increasing growth we have, and continue to have, that
this puts additional stresses on the infrastructure. Which is why you should be giving breaks to those of
us who are able and choose to scrape together the funds to add solar to our homes!
I am disgusted at the nearsightedness of Idaho Power and the PUC in this matter. Please do not allow
Idaho Power to continue increasing rates on Solar Power customers.They should be working hand-in-
hand with us as we help prevent Idaho Power and its customers from having rolling blackouts like other
states.
Food, housing and everything else increased when we had supply issues and they never went down.
Corporations are making huge profits. Perhaps Idaho Power should charge them more."

Comment: "This is ridiculous. How much money do the top investors, CEOs, and president make a year??
How much of an impact would it have on them if they didn't triple their salary for inflation and instead,
not raise rates?There's a thought for the greedy aholes. "

I'm writing in objection to the rate increase proposed by Idaho Power.Though most think you're in
Idaho Power's pockets, especially after rate increases year after year, I figured what the heck.
Another 73 for residential customers? Give me a break. Idaho Power, with your help, are really
screwing their customers.
