IPC-TAE-24-01. On May 30, 2024, Idaho Power Company ("Company") filed a Tariff Advice with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission("Commission")seeking to modify the definition of Renewable Energy Credit ("REC") within Schedule 62, Clean Energy Your Way Program ("CEYW")— Optional. In the tariff advice, the Company seeks to update the CEYW REC definition to align with the Company's operational and procurement practices. On June 5, 2024, after conferring with Commission Staff, the Company filed a Supplemental Filing to replace the May 30, 2024, Tariff Advice, in its entirety. The Supplemental Filing includes language to prioritize RECs sourced from the Company's service area or surrounding area. The Company requests its updated Tariff Advice be effective July 8, 2024. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff reviewed the Company's Supplemental Tariff Advice and believes the nature of the update is administrative and does not impact any programmatic or pricing aspects of the CEYW Program. Additionally, Staff believes the Supplemental Filing maintains the geographical sourcing preference of RECs for the CEYW Program as discussed in Order No. 33570. Staff recommends the Commission approve the Company's Tariff Advice filed on June 5, 2024, in its entirety, effective July 8, 2024. DECISION MEMORANDUM - 1 - JUNE 18, 2024 COMMISSION DECISION Does the Commission wish to approve the Supplemental Tariff Advice, effective July 8, 2024?
