SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S APPLICATION FOR
AN ORDER AUTHORIZING INCLUSION IN THE BRIDGER
BALANCING ACCOUNT OF ALL NON-FUEL OPERATIONS AND
MAINTENANCE EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH PLANT
OPERATIONS; CASE NO. IPC-E-24-14.
On March 29, 2024, Idaho Power Company ("Company") filed an application
("Application") with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") requesting an order
authorizing inclusion of all non-fuel operations and maintenance ("O&M") expenses associated
with plant operations in the Jim Bridger Power Plant(`Bridger") balancing account.
On April 15, 2024, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of
Intervention Deadline. Order No. 36138. On May 10, 2024, a Notice of Parties was issued.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Commission Staff recommends that the Commission now issue a Notice of Modified
Procedure establishing an August 20, 2024, initial comment deadline, and a September 3, 2024,
reply comment deadline.
