The Company requested an April 1,2024, effective date for the new rates. On March 22,2024,the Commission issued a Notice of Application,Notice of Intervention Deadline, and Notice of Suspension of Proposed Effective date, setting a deadline for interested parties to petition to intervene and suspending the Company's proposed effective date for thirty days plus five months. Order No. 36118. Only the city of Boise City intervened. At the Commission's May 7, 2024, Decision Meeting, Staff presented a Decision Memorandum recommending the Commission issue a Notice of Modified Procedure, and set a virtual public workshop and customer hearing. With this Order, the Commission establishes public comment and Company reply deadlines and sets a virtual public workshop and customer hearing. NOTICE OF MODIFIED PROCEDURE YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission will accept written comments under the Commission's Rules of Modified Procedure Rules 201-204 of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission's Rules of Procedure, IDAPA 31.01.01.201-204, in addition to testimony at the customer hearing. The Commission notes that Modified Procedure and written comments have proven to be an effective means for obtaining public input and participation. At the workshop, customers may ask Staff about the Application and how customers may further participate in the proceeding. Representatives of the Company may also be available. Chinden Blvd., Building 8, Suite 201-A, Boise, ID. The purpose of the customer hearing is to take testimony from members of the public and customers of the Company. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the hearing will meet accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
