Capitol Water Corporation provides the following responses to the Third Production
Request of the Commission Staff to Capitol Water Corporation.
REQUEST NO. 43: For all multi-unit commercial buildings, please identify by address
the buildings that have multiple customer accounts served through a single service connection.
a. Please identify by address how many customer accounts that includes.
COMPANY RESPONSE: The Company does not have any such accounts.
REQUEST NO. 44: For all multi-unit commercial buildings, please identify by address
the buildings that have more than one customer account served through a single shut-off valve.
a. Please identify by address how many customer accounts that includes.
COMPANY RESPONSE: The Company does not have any such accounts.

REQUEST NO. 45: For all multi-unit residential buildings, please identify by address

COMPANY RESPONSE: The Company does not have any such accounts.
REQUEST NO. 46: For all multi-unit residential buildings, please identify by address
how many buildings have more than one customer account served through a single shut-off
valve.
a. Please identify by address how many customer accounts that includes.
COMPANY RESPONSE: The Company does not have any such accounts.
REQUEST NO. 47: In reference to the 184 public fire customers listed on page 12 of
the Company's 2022 Idaho Public Utilities Commission Annual Report. Please respond to the
following:
a. Please describe public fire customers, the type of service they receive, and how they
are connected to the Company's system;
b. Please explain if the Company receives any income from these public fire customers;
c. Please explain who pays for any expenses associated with these public fire
connections and what account(s) these expenses are recorded in; and
d. Please provide any contracts or agreements associated with these public fire
customers.
COMPANY RESPONSE: These items listed on line 5 —Public Fire Protection, on page
12 of the Company's 2022 annual report refers to the number of fire hydrants in the Company's
franchise service area. The Company does not receive income from the fire hydrants. The
Company is responsible for the water line to the fire hydrant. The City of Boise owns these fire
hydrants. The Company previously billed the City of Boise a nominal amount per hydrant per
month for the fire hydrants. The Company no longer bills the City of Boise for these hydrants.

REQUEST NO. 48: Please provide the maintenance and service history for all company
vehicles from 2017 through 2024.
COMPANY RESPONSE: The Company has all required maintenance and oil changes
performed at Lithia Ford of Boise. Lithia Ford of Boise has access to all service records for the
Lincoln Navigator and the 2008 Ford F350 service truck. No service has been performed on the
2023 Ford Ranger XLT as none has yet been required.
REQUEST NO. 49: Regarding the projects planned in 2024, are any formal agreements
with the contractors in place, such as start dates and cost? If so, please provide documentation.
COMPANY RESPONSE: The Company has quotes for the well and fence work and
currently does not have any fonnal agreements with the contractors. The Company is in the
process of scheduling the fencing and well cleaning. In reference to the new customer billing
system, the Company has had demonstrations from three companies and bids from these
companies are forthcoming. The Company anticipates that the bids will be received prior to
Commission Staff s scheduled onsite audit in June. The bids will be available for review at that
time.
