SCHEDULE 95 - MY CLEAN ENERGY
2023 ANNUAL REPORT
AVISTA CORPORATION
April 2024
Background
Avista Utilities' voluntary renewable energy program, originally marketed as the"Buck-A-Block"
program, was initiated on February 1, 2002, and renamed to "My Clean Energy" Program
(Program) in 2020. The Program is available to residential and commercial electric customers in
both Idaho and Washington and provides customers with three options: (1)a National block option
of renewable power from a national source located anywhere in the United States which is priced
at $1.00 per 100 kWh; (2) a regional block option for a renewable power source located in the
Western Interconnection(WECC)which is priced at$1.30 per 100kWh; and,(3)a 100%matching
option (regionally sourced) to offset every kWh used at the customers selected meter which is
priced at$0.013 per kWh. Customers subscribe on a monthly basis and can cancel and re-subscribe
at any time by either phone, internet,or bill inserts.Avista purchases and retires Renewable Energy
Certificates (RECs) to supply the program. The Company markets the program through billing
inserts, earned media, selected fairs, solar grants and print media.

Program Promotion and Education
In February, August, and November 2023, Avista promoted its My Clean Energy program
through bill inserts. In addition,Avista promoted My Clean Energy through printed and electronic
bill newsletters in March and May 2023. In May 2023, existing My Clean Energy program
customers received an annual subscriber newsletter. The Company also conducted an annual Net
Promoter Score (NPS) survey in May 2023, which saw no change to customers who indicated
being a promoter of the program, rather than neutral or detracting, compared to 2022 results.
Individual feedback reflects support of clean energy options as well as some concerns about added
cost. Additional awareness, education, and outreach is needed to continue to see an increase in
NPS scores, however participation and satisfaction scores remain stable which indicates the
program is low hassle and continues to provide good value for participants.

Detailed Grant Project Information
There were no grants provided in 2023 and no current grant plans for 2024, however,
Avista is evaluating its overall renewable strategy for customer facing programs. As a part of this
work, the Company will be evaluating opportunities to improve, adjust, or offer new programs to
meet customer needs and goals. This includes evaluating the My Clean Energy program budget
and potential to offer grants again or an assessment of other potential options to use surplus funds
to benefit the program and participants.
