I am an owner of two lots in the Hidden Lakes Neighborhood. I can only speak to my own situation. I pay$40 per lot per month for services I don't even receive. Both of my lots do not receive water as of yet. Therefore I am of no burden to the system yet I pay$40 per lot per month for a total of$960 a year. What they are proposing is a 38%increase in rates. That's ridiculous. No business would propose such a rate increase at such a short notice. My annual requirement would be $1320 per year for no water services rendered. I am highly opposed to this rate increase as it is of no benefit nor value to me. I would receive no increase in quality, infrastructure nor help. Where is the proof they need the extra revenue? Do their financials demonstrate a need for increased revenue? If they are operating at a loss than prove it. If they need new or specific employees, than demonstrate the need? Please feel free to contact me directly at Matt@gotrajan.com. Regards, Matthew Hadler Owner, Hidden Lakes Neighborhood Sandpoint, ID VP Inc. PO Box 1785 Sandpoint, ID 83864-0903 CUSTOMER NOTICE February 15,2024 VP Inc. has filed an application with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission(IPUC) requesting__ approval of a rate increase to be effective July 1,2024. The Company is proposing to increase overall revenue by$10,451. This represents an overall increase of 21.5%. This rate increase is deemed necessary and prudent to enable ongoing maintenance and operation of existing infrastructure and allow for a reasonable rate of return on investment. If approved, a residential customer would see the monthly bill increase to$55.00. This application is a proposal, subject to public review and a Commission decision. A copy of the application is available for review at the offices of the Commission and VP Inc. The application may also be viewed on the IPUC web site at www.puc.idaho.gov.
