I believe a hearing should be conducted at StoneRidge Resort regarding the huge water increase
that has been proposed by Mr. Chan. That is an outrageous increase. If he has mismanaged the
water and sewer at StoneRidge, that is on his dime. It should not be passed on to the unsuspecting
people who live there. He can make up that money by developing the rest of the RV park and selling
the lots.

Gary and Betty Cook are requesting a full forensic investigation, and a public hearing here at
Stoneridge regarding the request by the Stoneridge owner to raise water fees to exorbitantly high
rates. They are excessive and unrealistic, and they would put a real hardship on everyone
here. There are a lot of questions regarding this situation which most have already reported to the
IPUC. We are in agreement with all of them.

We do not drink the water from our tap here because of the odors that occasionally come out of the
faucets and also the amount of chlorine taste and odor at times.

We have not received a water test report for quite a long time and we have lived here since 2004.

pursued because so much of the claimed details presented to IPUC

Comment: "In communica�ng with many people in this community, I find there are many, many
ques�ons about the proposed rate increase by this water u�lity. Some have requested a hearing by the
IPUC Commissioners in our area here in Blanchard, as have I.

In addi�on, we would request a workshop with the IPUC Commissioners in the Blanchard area. This
would be helpful in that a ques�on and answer format would be helpful in clearing up so many
ques�ons about the rate increase proposal and the alleged reasons for the rate changes. There are many
people here who do not have access to the Internet, and who are not on social media. There are many
residents in remote, rural areas who are elderly and/or re�red. An in-person workshop with the IPUC
Commissioners in the Blanchard area would be ideal given the astounding implica�ons of this proposed
water rate increase.
