In July 2002,the Commission issued Order No.29084 granting WestCom LLC dba
Digital East Chair a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity,and in August 2002
Certificate No.401 was issued to WestCom.In January 2006,the Commission issued Order No.
29965 granting a name change from WestCom LLC dba Digital Easy Chair to WestCom,LLC
dba WestTelFiber.
Effective July 15 2014,Westel,LLC acquired the assets of WestCom.On August 8,
2014,Westel filed an Application requesting to transfer First Amended,Certificate No.401,
from WestCom,LLC dba WestTelFiber to Westel,LLC.The Company stated that it will offer
the same services currently provided by WestCom.Westel also provided with its Application
Certificates issued by the Idaho Secretary of State’s office,financial information,and a revised
price list.Staff reviewed the Company’s Application and recommended approval at the
Commission’s August 25,2014 decision meeting.
Based on our review of the information provided to the Commission by Westel,the
Commission finds it reasonable to issue an amended Certificate of Public Convenience and
Necessity to reflect the change in name on Certificate No.401 from WestCom,LLC dba
WestTelFiber to Westel,LLC.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No.
401,is amended to change the name from WestCom,LLC dba WestTelFiber to Westel,LLC.
Westel,LLC will be issued an amended Certificate reflecting this name change.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER.Any person interested in this Order may petition for
reconsideration within twenty-one (21)days of the service date of this Order.Within seven (7)

days after any person has petitioned for reconsideration,any other person may cross-petition for
reconsideration.See Idaho Code §61-626.
