On July 30 2002, the Commission issued Order No. 29084 granting WestCom LLC
dba Digital Easy Chair ("WestCom ) a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to
provide basic local exchange services in the area of southern Idaho. In August 2002, Certificate
No. 401 was issued to WestCom.
On August 23, 2005, WestCom notified the Commission that it had changed the
name under which it does business from Digital Easy Chair to WesTelFiber. There were no
changes to management, operations, costs or types of services offered to the public as a result of
the restructure. WestCom submitted a revised tariff reflecting the name change, and requested
the Commission to change the name on the Company s Certificate. The Company provided a
copy of its Certificate of Assumed Business Name issued by the Idaho Secretary of State.
Based on our review of the Application, we find that it is reasonable to amend
Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 401 to reflect the change from WestCom
LLC dba Digital Easy Chair to WestCom, LLC dba WestTelFiber.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity
No. 401 be amended to reflect the name change from WestCom LLC dba Digital Easy Chair to
WestCom LLC dba WesTelFiber.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order may petition for
reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of the service date of this Order with regard to any
matter decided in this Order in Case No. WSC-05-1. Within seven (7) days after any person
has petitioned for reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. See
Idaho Code ~~ 61-626 and 62-619.
