OF VERIZON NORTHWEST
INC.
On July 7 2005 , Verizon Northwest submitted a "Notice of Election" that it intended
to remove its telecommunications services currently price regulated under Title 61 and
have those services regulated under Title 62. The Company also indicated that it would
subsequently file "price lists" with the Commission to become effective August 8, 2005.
In a subsequent conversation with Commission Attorney, Don Howell, the Company
was asked to supplement its notice with additional information. This supplemental filing
serves to notify the Commission that when Verizon files its initial Price List, there will be
no changes to the rates, terms and conditions currently contained in the Company s Local
Exchange, Access and Toll tariffs. In accordance with Title 62, Verizon will provide 10
day notice to the Commission prior to the Price Lists becoming effective.
