HomeMy WebLinkAboutmemofunderstanding.docMEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING Intermountain Gas Company and the Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission agree to the following: Intermountain Gas Company agrees to reduce the administrative fee paid to IGI Resources for natural gas procurement and related services from $.005 per therm to $.004 per therm effective April 1, 2000. The Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission agrees not to raise nor encourage others to raise the reasonableness of the administrative fee as an issue in a proceeding before the Commission. This Memorandum of Understanding is for a three-year period. Intermountain Gas Company, through its gas supply officer, shall affirm each year in writing to Staff that it has investigated the continued reasonableness of the fee paid to IGI Resources and that the fee is no higher than could reasonably be obtained from a competitive supplier of similar services. The parties to this Memorandum of Understanding acknowledge that the Commission Staff binds only itself and has no authority, explicit or implicit, to bind the Idaho Public Utilities Commission.
