Dear Ms. Jewell:
Verizon Nortwest Inc. respectlly requests to withdraw Advice No. 03-13 filed on July 17, 2003 in Case
No. VZN-T-01-4. The request in the advice letter filed in that case is now obsolete, as customers in the
Wallace and Mullan exchanges have greater choices in callng plans covering the Coeur d'Alene and
surrounding areas available today compared to what was offered back in 2003.
For example, in 2006 and 2007, the Company began offering affordable residential and business packages
that include unlimited locl toll callng. In addition, customers have options to bundle these packages with
an unlimited long distance plan and receive additional discounts.
With this letter, Verizon also requests that Case No. VZN-T-01-4 be closed.
