RE:CANCELLATION OF CERTIFICATE NO. 421 ISSUED TO YOLO
COMMUNICATIONS OF IDAHO, INc.; CASE NO. VOL-03-01.
BACKGROUND
On February 12 2008, the Commission received a request to cancel the authorization to
provide local exchange telecommunications services and withdraw the CLEC and IXC price list
ofVolo Communications of Idaho, Inc. ("Volo ). The Commission issued Certificate No. 421 in
Case No. VOL-03-01 on January 22 2004. See Order No. 29421. Volo states that the
Company s lead investors have shut down its network and all employees have been laid off. The
Company further states it has no customers in Idaho, no funds to pay fees, and wishes to cease its
regulatory registration and annual fee assessments.
ST AFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff has reviewed the request and agrees no customers will be impacted by the
cancellation ofVolo s certificate and recommends Commission approval.
