On February 12 2008, V 010 Communications ofldaho, Inc. filed a request to cancel its
Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) No. 421 and withdraw its price list for
service in Idaho. The Company stated it has no customers in Idaho, has no funds to pay fees, and
wishes to cease its regulatory registration and annual fee assessments. In its Decision Meeting on
March 13 2008, the Commission approved Volo s request for cancellation of Certificate No. 421.
COMMISSION FINDINGS
In November 2003 , Volo Communications of Idaho, Inc. filed an Application with the
Commission requesting authority to provide telecommunications services within the State ofIdaho.
In January 2004, the Commission granted Volo s Application for a CPCN to provide
telecommunications services within Idaho. Order No. 29421.
On February 12, 2008, Volo requested cancellation of its Certificate and stated that it
does not provide local exchange services to any customers within Idaho; therefore, no customers will
be affected by this cancellation. Staff recommended the Commission cancel Certificate No. 421 and
remove the Company s price list on file.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that V 010 Communications of Idaho, Inc.' s request for
cancellation of Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 421 is granted. Certificate No.
421 is no longer in effect, and V 010 is no longer authorized to provide services in the State ofldaho.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order or in interlocutory
Orders previously issued in this case may petition for reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of
the service date of this Order with regard to any matter decided in this Order or in interlocutory
Orders previously issued in this case. Within seven (7) days after any person has petitioned for
reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. See Idaho Code 99 61-619
and 61-626.
