On August 24, 2020, Velocity The Greatest Phone Company Ever, Inc. (“Company”)
applied to change the name on its Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to Velocity, A
Managed Services Company, Inc. The Company provides resold local exchange
telecommunications services in Idaho pursuant to Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity
No. 492. 1
APPLICATION
The Company notified the Commission it has changed its name to Velocity, A
Managed Services Company, Inc. Application at 1. The Company provided an updated access
tariff reflecting the new name and a Certificate of Amendment of Registration of Foreign Limited
Liability Company from the Idaho Secretary of State. Id.
COMMISSION DECISION
Based on our review of the Application, we find it reasonable to approve the
Company’s request to change the name on its Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to
Velocity, A Managed Services Company, Inc., and to amend its Certificate of Public Convenience
and Necessity No. 492 to reflect the new name.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Company’s Application is approved. Certificate
of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 492 will be amended to reflect the Company has changed
its name to Velocity, A Managed Services Company, Inc.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Company’s updated tariffs are approved as filed,
effective on September 24, 2020.
