RE: CASE NO. USW-T-99-29--INTERCONNECTION AGREEMENT BETWEEN U S WEST AND PATHNET, INC.
On December 7, 1999, a joint Application was filed by U S WEST and Pathnet, Inc. for approval of an interconnection agreement. The agreement enables Pathnet to resell U S WEST services and provides Pathnet access to U S WEST’s unbundled network elements. On December 31, 1999, the Commission issued a Notice of Joint Application and Notice of Modified Procedure. During the comment period, written comments were filed only by the Commission Staff. Staff recommends approval of the interconnection agreement as filed.
The parties filed their joint Application seeking approval of the interconnection agreement pursuant to Section 252(e)(2) of the Telecommunications Act of 1996. Staff recommends approval of the interconnection agreement as filed.
Commission Decision:
Should the interconnection agreement in Case No. USW-T-99-29 be approved?
