USW-T-99-25 CTC-T-99-2 NOTICE OF HEARINGS ORDER NO. 28299 On October 7, 1999, U S WEST Communications, Inc. (U S WEST) and Citizens Telecommunications Company of Idaho (Citizens) filed a Joint Application for transfer of a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity. The Application requests approval of the transfer to Citizens of U S WEST’s Certificate to provide local exchange and other telecommunication services in north Idaho. On October 20, 1999, the Commission issued a Notice of Joint Application and Notice of Right to Intervene, and subsequently scheduled a technical hearing for March 16-17, 2000. NOTICE OF HEARING YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the hearing previously scheduled for March 16-17, 2000 is vacated. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission will convene a technical hearing in this matter on THURSDAY, APRIL 13, 2000, AT 9:30 A.M. IN THE COMMISSION’S HEARING ROOM, 472 WEST WASHINGTON, BOISE, IDAHO, and will continue on FRIDAY, APRIL 14, 2000, if necessary. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission will convene a PUBLIC HEARING IN LEWISTON, IDAHO ON APRIL 27, 2000, for the purpose of receiving testimony from interested members of the public. The public hearing will convene at 7:30 P.M. AT THE RED LION HOTEL, 621 21ST STREET, LEWISTON, IDAHO. Members of the Commission Staff and representatives of the telephone company parties will be available starting at 6:30 p.m. to answer questions. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all hearings and prehearing conferences in this matter will be held in facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. In order to participate, understand testimony and argument at a public hearing, persons needing the help of a sign language interpreter or other assistance may ask the Commission to provide a sign language interpreter or other assistance as required under the Americans with Disabilities Act. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this matter will be conducted pursuant to the Commission’s Rules of Procedure, IDAPA 31.01.01.000 et seq. O R D E R IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the hearing scheduled for March 16-17, 2000, is vacated. The Commission will convene technical and public hearings as set forth in the preceding Notice of Hearings.
