USW-T-99-25 CTC-T-99-2 NOTICE OF HEARING AMENDED PROCEDURAL ORDER NO. 28241 On October 7, 1999, U S WEST Communications, Inc. (U S WEST) and Citizens Telecommunications Company of Idaho (Citizens) filed a Joint Application for transfer of a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity. The Application requests approval of the transfer to Citizens of U S WEST’s Certificate to provide local exchange and other telecommunication services in north Idaho. On October 20, 1999, the Commission issued a Notice of Joint Application and Notice of Right to Intervene. The Commission on December 7, 1999, issued Procedural Order No. 28226 and Notice of Hearing to establish a procedural schedule to process the Joint Application. In order to better accommodate the schedules of the parties and the Commission, the Commission issues this Order to alter the procedural schedule. In order to process the Application, the Commission has determined to adopt the following procedural schedule: Filing of direct testimony of Staff and Intervenors Filing of rebuttal testimony by U S WEST/Citizens Technical hearing February 4, 2000 March 1, 2000 March 16-17, 2000 NOTICE OF HEARING YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the hearing previously scheduled for February 16-17, 2000 is vacated. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission will convene a technical hearing in this matter on THURSDAY, MARCH 16, 2000, AT 9:30 A.M. IN THE COMMISSION’S HEARING ROOM, 472 WEST WASHINGTON, BOISE, IDAHO, and will continue on FRIDAY, MARCH 17, 2000, if necessary. The Commission will convene a public hearing in Lewiston, Idaho on April 4, 2000, for the purpose of receiving testimony from interested members of the public. Notice of the time and location of the public hearing will be provided when a suitable location is committed for the Commission’s use. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all hearings and prehearing conferences in this matter will be held in facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. In order to participate, understand testimony and argument at a public hearing, persons needing the help of a sign language interpreter or other assistance may ask the Commission to provide a sign language interpreter or other assistance as required under the Americans with Disabilities Act. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this matter will be conducted pursuant to the Commission’s Rules of Procedure, IDAPA 31.01.01.000 et seq. O R D E R IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Commission adopts the preceding schedule for the purpose of processing the Application of U S WEST and Citizens in this case.
