7 you, Mr. Purdy. Mr. Purdy.

13 being first duly sworn, was examined and testified

18 BY MR. PURDY:

19 Q. Would you please state your name and

20 your business address?

21 A. My name is Rick Sterling. My business

22 address is 472 West Washington, Boise, Idaho.

23 Q. And you are employed by the Idaho

24 Public Utilities Commission. Correct?

25 A. Yes, I am. I'm employed as a Staff

2 Q. Thank you. And in that capacity, have

3 you prefiled direct testimony in this page -- in

4 this case consisting of 40 pages of text?

5 A. Yes, I have.

6 Q. And attached to and identified in that

7 testimony as -- are also Staff Exhibits 104 through

8 106. Is that right?

9 A. Yes.

10 Q. All right. Now, do you have any

11 corrections or revisions to your testimony or

12 exhibits, Mr. Sterling?

13 A. Yes, there are a few.

14 Q. Okay. Why don't you go through those

15 for us.

16 A. The first one, beginning on page 17,

17 line 25, and continuing on to page 18. On page 17,

18 line 25, I would like to strike the word "Company,"

19 and continuing on to page 18, strike the words

20 "planned interruptions." The reason for that change

21 is ScottishPower has stated in Production Request --

22 or, in rebuttal testimony, excuse me -- that plant

23 interruptions would be included.

24 The second change is on page 31,

25 line 15. Strike the words "and Soda Springs" and

1 insert the word "and" between "Cove" and "Soda."

2 Page 32, the sentence beginning on

3 line 4, strike the words "some of," and on line 6,

4 strike the words following the semicolon: "others

5 are yearly contracts subject to renegotiation every

6 year."

7 Q. Will you explain for us the reason for

8 that change?

9 A. Yes. After reviewing PacifiCorp

10 witness Burton's testimony, we have since

11 re-examined PacifiCorp's irrigation contracts and

12 have found that there are, in fact, no yearly

13 contracts.

14 That also leads to my final change,

15 which is on page 34. The sentence that begins on

16 line 22 and continuing on through line -- or, 25, I

17 would like to delete that entire sentence for the

18 same reason.

19 Q. Beginning with the words "the only

20 contract holders"?

21 A. Yes. Those are all of my changes.

22 Q. Do these changes necessitate any

23 corresponding changes to your exhibits in any way?

24 A. None that I'm aware of.

4 A. Yes, they would.
