NOTICE OF HEARING FOR ORAL ARGUMENT

This case was initiated on July 23, 1999, by U S WEST Communications, Inc. (U S WEST). U S WEST filed an Application pursuant to Idaho Code § 62-622(3) seeking deregulation of its basic local exchange rates in its Burley, Idaho exchange. On September 17, 1999, the Commission issued a Notice of Prehearing Conference and Notice of Hearing establishing a schedule to process the case. On September 20, 1999, a Motion to Dismiss was filed by GST Telecom Idaho, Inc. and Electric Lightwave, Inc. The Commission has determined to allow oral argument on the Motion at the time of the prehearing conference.
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission will hear oral argument on the Motion to Dismiss filed by GST Telecom Idaho, Inc. and Electric Lightwave, Inc. on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 12, 1999 AT 10:30 A.M. IN THE COMMISSION HEARING ROOM, 472 WEST WASHINGTON, BOISE, IDAHO. The opportunity for oral argument by the parties will be part of the prehearing conference established by the Commission on that date and time.
