APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF INTERCONNECTION AGREEMENT BY U S WEST AND KNIGHT COMMUNICATIONS.
On August 10, 1998, a Joint Application was filed by U S WEST Communications and Knight Communications requesting approval of an interconnection agreement.  The agreement was reached through voluntary negotiations and is submitted for approval pursuant to Section 252(e) of the Telecommunications Act of 1996.  The agreement provides for the resale of U S WEST’s services by Knight Communications.
Staff recommends that the Joint Application for approval of the interconnection agreement be processed by Modified Procedure, pursuant to the Commission’s Rules of Procedure 201-204.
