JOINT APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF AN INTERCONNECTION AGREEMENT.
On November 17, 1997 a Joint Application for approval of an interconnection agreement was filed by U S WEST Communications and Electric Lightwave, Inc.  The Application states that the agreement was reached through voluntary negotiations and is submitted for approval pursuant to Section 252(e) of the Telecommunications Act of 1996.
Staff recommends that the Application for approval of the interconnection agreement be processed by Modified Procedure.
