Dear Mr. Lyons:
Pursuant to our phone conversation on July 5, 1996, I am sending you two reports that have recently been filed with the Commission by Idaho Power Company.  
The first document is Idaho Power’s most recent filing of its Resource Management Report entitled Integrated Resource Plan.  This report identifies and compares different resources and evaluates the demand-side and supply-side for these resources.  You will find a discussion of wind power on page 37. This report is filed with the Commission every two years.  
The second report is Idaho Power’s Conservation Plan for 1996.  This report discusses conservation programs with the Company.  It evaluates the electrical energy efficiency improvements achieved through Idaho Power customer programs during 1995. This report is filed annually with the Commission.  
I hope this gives you answers to some of the questions you had.  If you have more questions on these reports, I suggest that you call Wayne Hart, a consumer assistance specialist for the PUC at 334-0376.  He is very knowledgeable in conservation matters for Idaho Power and is able to give you more detail on Idaho Power’s programs.  Also, if I can be of further assistance to you, I can be reached at the 334-0300.
