USTT981 COMMENTS OF THE COMMISSION STAFF COMES NOW the Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, by and through its Attorney of record, Cheri C. Copsey, Deputy Attorney General, in response to Order No. 27403, the Notice of Application and Notice of Modified Procedure in Case No. UST-T-98-1, issued March 12, 1998, submits the following comments. On January 7, 1998, the Commission received an Application from U S Telco, Inc. for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide local exchange telecommunications services within Idaho. On March 12, 1998, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of Modified Procedure; Order No. 27403. Comments were due April 2, 1998. In a letter dated March 27, 1998, and received by the Commission on March 30, 1998, Telco stated it no longer wished to pursue its Application and requested that its Application be withdrawn.
