by the Federal Communications Commission ("FCC") to provide service. in varous

Network, Inc., ("A TN!") a publicly-traded corporation headquaered in Beverly,
Massachusett. Previously, ATN, and ultimately Allied Wireless acquired cert
wireless assets, licenses and accompanying authorizations in six states, including Idaho,
from subsidiaries of Verizon Wireless. Alled Wireless is designated as an Eligible
Telecommunications Carer in Idaho. (Order No. 32209).

On June 2, 2011, Allied Wireless fied Comments, Protest toUseofModified
Procedure and Request for Hearng in the above-captioned docket jointly with the Idaho
Telecom Allance, CTC Telecom, Inc., Syrga Wireless, LLC and Rural Telephone
Company. Asindicated therein, the Application ofT-Mobile presents a number of issues
waranting furter investigation, including, among others,

. The potential impact of AT&T's acquisition ofT-Mobile on T-Mobile's
use of Federal Universal Service Funds;
· The depth ofT-Mobile's commitment to expand its service into rual areas
of Idaho;
. The impact on fuding for other Eligible Telecommuncations Carers
under the Interim Cap recently imposed by the Federal Communications
Commission.
IV.
Based on the foregoing, Alled Wireless has a direct and substantial interest in this
proceeding, which interest is not adequately represented by other parties.
v.
Alled Wireless' paricipation in this proceeding wil not unduly broaden the
issues in all proceeding or cause undue delay.
WHEREFORE Alled Wireless respectfully requests that this Petition be granted
and that Alled Wireless be granted full rights as a par.
