Re: Case No. TFW-T-09-01 In the Matter of the Application of TracFone
Wireless, Inc. for Designation as an Eligible Telecommunications Carier
Dear Ms. Jewell:
On February 26, 2010, we filed with the Commission on behalf of our client, TracFone
Wireless, Inc., a petition for reconsideration of the Commission's prior order in this docket, and
a First Amended Application for designation as an eligible telecommunications carer. We
understand that the petition for reconsideration and the amended application are scheduled for
consideration by the Commission at an agenda meeting on March 15. By this letter, TracFone
hereby notifies the Commission that it is withdrawing its petition for reconsideration. That
withdrawal is without prejudice to petitioning for reconsideration should such become necessar
in the future.
We understand that the Commission wil consider the amended application, that staff will
review the application, seek comment and prepare a recommended decision within sixty (60)
days. TracFone looks forward to working with the Commission and its staff as it reviews the
amended application.
