RE:CASE NO. TCI-T-98-1; APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY BY TELTRUST TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES, INC.
On January 20, 1998, Teltrust Communications Services, Inc. filed an Application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide local exchange services in Idaho.  Teltrust is a privately held corporation organized under the laws of the state of Utah, and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Teltrust, Inc.  Teltrust’s Application indicates it initially will serve customers primarily through the provision of resold and unbundled network facilities.
Teltrust has responded to Staff’s request to provide the necessary information to apply for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity.  Staff recommends that Teltrust’s Application be processed by Modified Procedure.
