SUBJECT: SYRINGA WIRELESS'S APPLICATION FOR A BROADBAND TAX
CREDIT, CASE NO. SYR-T-08-02
On May 9, 2008, Syringa Wireless LLC fied an Application for a broadband tax
credit for calendar year 2007. On September 12, 2008, Syringa notified Commission Staff that it
wished to withdraw its current broadband tax credit Application. The Company advised Staff
that it wil refie a new application once it can meet the statutory broadband speed requirements.
IPUC Rule of Procedure 68 provides that a notice of withdrawal of a pleading is
effective foureen days after filing, unless otherwise ordered by the Commission. There being no
order otherwise, Syringa's notice of withdrawal of its Application became effective September
26,2008. Consequently, the Application is withdrawn and the case can be closed.
