Hello Jean and Grace - -
In reviewing the referenced docket in the September Administrative Bulletin I realized that I had failed to provide a
comment I had meant to provide earlier this summer when revisions to Rule 103 appeared in the temporary rule. As
you know, Rule 103 establishes the Telephone industry Advisory Committee. There is a small technical change that
should have been noted at that time but that I am noting now. {My apologies for the delay in getting this information to
you.) The change is that Rule 103.01 newly numbered subsection "b" refers to the "Idaho Telephone
Association." Some years ago the ITA changed its name to the "Idaho Telecom Alliance." It is the same entity as the old
Idaho Telephone Association, just a new name more in keeping with the current marketplace. Its functions and
membership have not changed; only its name is new. That correction ought to be made in Rule 103. I would be happy
to discuss this with either of you or to provide whatever additional documentation you might like. I see no need for a
negotiated rulemaking meeting nor a hearing on the rule --unless the Commission believes it is necessary. Please let
me know if you want additional information. Again, my apologies for not making this correction two months ago when I
originally noted the need. Thank you both.
