NOTICE OF APPLICATION
ORDER NO. 27230
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that on October 23, 1997, Direct Communications Rockland, Inc. (Rockland) filed an Application with the Commission seeking authority to increase its local exchange rates and to receive increased distributions from the Idaho Universal Service Fund (USF).
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Application together with supporting workpapers, testimonies and exhibits, have been filed with the Commission and are available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Commission offices.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this case will be held pursuant to the Commission's jurisdiction under Title 61 of the Idaho Code and that the Commission may enter any final Order consistent with its authority under Title 61.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this matter will be conducted pursuant to the Commission's Rules of Procedure, IDAPA 31.01.01.000 et seq.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that due to other constraints on the Commissions time and because of the complexity of this matter, the Commission will not be able to resolve Rocklands Application by the requested effective date. Consequently, pursuant to Idaho Code 61-622, the Commission hereby suspends Rocklands requested effective date of December 1, 1997, for a period of thirty (30) days plus five (5) months or until such time as the Commission issues a final Order in this matter resolving the Application.
O R D E R
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Application of Rockland for authority to increase its local exchange rates and to increase the amount of disbursements it receives from the Universal Service Fund is suspended for a period of thirty (30) days plus five (5) months from the requested effective date of December 1, 1997.
