BEFORE THE IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION

On July 11, 2023, the Commission received a letter from Reliant Communications, Inc.
(f/k/a HJN Telecom, Inc.) (“Reliant”) requesting to withdraw Certificate of Public Convenience
and Necessity (“CPCN”) No. 371 issued to it January 28, 2000, in Case No. GNR-T-99-17. Reliant
indicated that it no longer provides services to Idaho customers and therefore no customers will be
affected. At the August 15, 2023, Decision Meeting, Staff recommended the Commission grant
Reliant’s request, and its certificate be withdrawn without prejudice. This Order approves Reliant’s
request to withdraw its CPCN.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Reliant Communications, Inc.’s (f/k/a HJN Telecom, Inc.)
request to withdraw Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 371 is approved, and
thus CPCN No. 371 is withdrawn without prejudice and is no longer in effect.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order may petition for
reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of the service date of this Order regarding any matter
decided in this Order. Within seven (7) days after any person has petitioned for reconsideration,
any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. Idaho Code § 61-626.
