NAME CHANGE TO 1-800-RECONEX, INC. AKA USTEL

On January 6, 1998 , the Commission issued Order No. 27302 granting Sterling
International Funding, Inc. dba Reconex a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to
provide Title 61 regulated telecommunications services, including basic exchange services
within parts of the State of Idaho. Certificate No. 336 was issued on January 8, 1998. On July
, 2003 , the Commission issued a Minute Order granting a name change from Sterling
International Funding, Inc. to 1-800-RECONEX, Inc. First Amended Certificate No. 336 was
issued July 24, 2003.
On May 28, 2004, 1-800-RECONEX, Inc. filed a letter notifying the Commission
that it intends to offer post-paid local exchange service under the name of US Tel. The Company
intends to continue offering pre-paid service from its 1-800-RECONEX tariff and post-paid
service from its USTel tariff operating both under Certificate No. 336. RECONEX requested a
name change from 1-800-RECONEX, Inc. to 1-800-RECONEX, Inc. aka USTel. Commission
Staff recommended the Commission approve the request for name change at the June 21 , 2004
Decision Meeting.
Based on our review of the request, the Commission finds it is reasonable to amend
Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 335 to reflect the change in name from 1-
800-RECONEX, Inc. to 1-800-RECONEX, Inc. aka USTel.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the name on Certificate of Public Convenience and
Necessity No. 336 be amended to reflect the change in name from 1-800-RECONEX, Inc. to
800-RECONEX, Inc. aka USTel.

THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order may petition for
reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of the service date of this Order. Within seven (7)
days after any person has petitioned for reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for
reconsideration. See Idaho Code 9 61-626.
