RE:MODIFICATION OF 1-800-RECONEX'S CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC
CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY.
On May 28 2004, the Commission received a new tariff for 1-800-RECONEX, Inc. dba
USTel. 1-800-RECONEX holds Certificate No. 336 and offers pre-paid local exchange service
in Idaho. With its May 28 , 2004 filing, the Company intends to offer post-paid local exchange
service operating under the name of US Tel. The Company intends to continue offering pre-paid
service from its 1-800-RECONEX tariff and post-paid service from its USTel tariff; both under
Certificate No. 336.
STAFF REVIEW
Staff has reviewed the new USTel tariff as well as the new Certificate of Assumed
Business Name from the Secretary of State s office and has no objections. Staff recommends
that Certificate No. 336 be modified to include the new assumed business name of US Tel by
adding .. . aka USTel" to the Certificate.
