On October 26, 2005, the Commission issued Order No. 29899 granting Red-Ban
Communications, LLC a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide local
exchange and interexchange services within the State ofIdaho. On October 28 2005 , Certificate
No. 452 was issued to Red-Ban Communications, LLc.
On August 4, 2009, Red-Ban Communications notified the Commission that it had
changed its business model and requested its name be changed from Red-Ban Communications
LLC to Red-Ban Corhmunications, LLC dba NextPhone. Red-Ban provided an updated price
list reflecting the new business name, and an Amended Certificate of Authority and Assumed
Business Name from the Idaho Secretary of State.
Based on our review of the Application, the Commission approves Red-Ban
request to amend its Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 452 to reflect the
change from Red-Ban Communications, LLC to Red-Ban Communications, LLC dba
NextPhone.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity
No. 452 be amended to reflect the name change from Red-Ban Communications, LLC to Red-
Ban Communications, LLC dba NextPhone.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order may petition for
reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of the service date of this Order with regard to any
matter decided in this Order in Case No. RDB-05-01. Within seven (7) days after any person
has petitioned for reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. See
Idaho Code 99 61-626 and 62-619.
