On October 7, 2009, Qwest Corporation filed a Motion for Extension of Comment
Deadline to Explore Settlement. In its Motion, Qwest referenced Commission Order No. 30872
that established comment filing dates. Qwest reply comments were to be filed on or before
October 9, 2009, but Qwest states in its Motion that the Staff and parties are currently discussing
possible areas of common understanding and areas of potential compromise considering the
provisions of Qwest's Performance Assurance Plan (PAP).Accordingly, Qwest asks the
Commission to vacate the comment deadline presently set for October 9, 2009.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Qwest's Motion for Extension of Comment
Deadline is approved. The comment deadline previously set for October 9, 2009, for Qwest
reply comments is vacated.
