On November 26, 2008, Qwest filed a Motion for Extension of Comment Deadline
and Revised Procedural Schedule requesting that the Commission vacate the December 1 , 2008
filing date for comments by Staff and intervenors. The Commission already vacated an earlier
Staff and intervenor filing date because Qwest expressed an interest in presenting an alternative
to withdrawal of its Statement of Generally Available Terms (SGAT). In its Motion filed
November 26, Qwest confirms that it is developing an alternative approach to withdrawal of the
SGA T, and that the parties are scheduled to hold a conference call on December 3, 2008 to
review and discuss the draft proposal. Accordingly, Qwest requests that the Commission vacate
the December 1 , 2008 filing deadline and develop a new procedural schedule to consider
Qwest's alternative filing
The Commission finds it appropriate to grant Qwest's Motion to vacate the December
, 2008 filing deadline for Staff and intervenors. The Commission will approve a new
procedural schedule after Qwest files its alternative proposal.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the December 1 , 2008 filing date for Staff and
intervenor comments is vacated.
