SUBJECT:AT&T AND QWEST'JOINT MOTION TO MODIFY THE
PROCEDURAL SCHEDULE IN THEIR COMPLAINT, CASE NO. QWE-
06-
On July 30, 2007, AT&T and Qwest filed a Joint Motion for modification of the
procedural schedule adopted by the Commission in Order No. 30319. The parties maintain that a
change in the schedule is necessary because: (1) local counsel for Qwest will be unavailable for
much of October; (2) settlement discussions are ongoing; and (3) travel schedules and
established schedules in other cases will prevent AT&T's counsel from assisting in the
preparation of direct testimony as currently scheduled. Generally, the parties are requesting to
slip the schedule by approximately six weeks. The parties' proposed schedule is attached for
your reVIew.
COMMISSION DECISION
Does the Commission wish to grant the Joint Motion of AT&T and Qwest to modify
the schedule in their complaint case?

Complainant AT&T Communications of the Mountain States, Inc. ("AT&T") and
Respondent Qwest Corporation ("Qwest"), by their attorneys of record, hereby jointly request a
modification to the Procedural Schedule in this case. The parties request this change because (i)
local counsel for Qwest will be unavailable for much of October; (ii) global settlement
discussions are ongoing; and (iii) travel schedules and conflicts in briefing responses to motions
to dismiss in other cases will prevent counsel for AT&T from assisting in finalizing direct
testimony by the current date. The parties have accordingly agreed to and hereby ask the
Commission to adopt the following revised schedule:
