In June 2005 , Level 3 Communications, LLC filed with the Commission a Petition for
Arbitration of an interconnection agreement with Qwest Corporation pursuant to Section 252(b) of
the federal Telecommunications Act of 1996. The Commission on August 3 , 2005 , issued
Procedural Order No. 29819 appointing an arbitrator and establishing a procedural schedule. The
hearing dates set forth in Order No. 29819 subsequently were vacated on the request ofthe parties
who were attempting to negotiate an interconnection agreement.After negotiations were
unsuccessful in resolving all interconnection issues, the parties stipulated to extend the period for
completion of the arbitration and proposed a new procedural schedule. The Commission hereby
approves the procedural schedule submitted by the parties as follows:
