ARGUMENT
On April 30, 2003, the Commission Staff filed a Petition for a Declaratory Ruling and
a Memorandum in Support of the Petition. Qwest filed an Answer and Cross Petition for
Declaratory Ruling on May 13 2003. The Commission scheduled oral argument on the Petitions
for Thursday, May 22, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. On May 19, 2003 , Staff filed its Reply to Qwest's
Answer and Cross Petition, and also filed a Motion to Vacate Hearing Dates as part of its Reply.
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission will convene an oral argument
hearing on Staffs Motion to Vacate Hearing Dates on THURSDAY. MAY 22.2003. AT 10:00
M. IN THE HEARING ROOM OF THE PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION. 472
WEST WASIDNGTON STREET. BOISE. IDAHO following oral argument on the parties
Petitions for Declaratory Ruling.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all hearings and prehearing conferences in
this matter will be held in facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with
Disabilities Act (ADA). Persons needing the help of a sign language interpreter or other
assistance in order to participate in or to understand testimony and argument at a public hearing
may ask the Commission to provide a sign language interpreter or other assistance at the hearing.
