CASE NO. QWE- T -02- NOTICE OF HEARING PROCEDURAL ORDER NO. 29191 This case was initiated on December 17, 2002 when Qwest Corporation filed an Application for deregulation of basic local exchange telephone rates in seven exchanges in southern Idaho. The Application was filed under Idaho Code 9 62-622(3)(b). On December 18 2002, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of Right to Intervene. Several petitions to intervene were received, all of which were granted by the Commission. The Commission now issues this Procedural Order to process the Application and schedule a hearing on Qwest's Application. The Commission adopts the following dates for the filing of testimony and scheduling of a hearing: March 19, 2003 Staff and Intervenors File Direct Testimony April 16, 2003 Qwest Files Rebuttal Testimony April 29-, 2003 Hearing The Commission does not adopt dates for the completion of discovery, but anticipates that the parties will cooperate to provide discovery requests and responses in a timely manner. NOTICE OF HEARING YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission will convene a hearing on TUESDAY. APRIL 29. 2003 AT 9:30 A.M. IN THE COMMISSION HEARING ROOM. 472 W. WASHINGTON STREET. BOISE. IDAHO continuing to Wednesday, April 30 2003, at the same location. NOTICE OF HEARING PROCEDURAL ORDER NO. 29191 YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all hearings and prehearing conferences in this matter will be held in facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Persons needing the help of a sign language interpreter or other assistance in order to participate in or to understand testimony and argument at a public hearing may ask the Commission to provide a sign language interpreter or other assistance at the hearing. The Commission has jurisdiction over this matter pursuant to Idaho Code 99 61-502 61-622, and 61- 623. ORDER IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the schedule identified above is adopted by the Commission to process this case. The Commission will convene a hearing on April 29-, 2003 to receive the evidence on Qwest's Application presented by all parties.
