NOTICE OF WORKSHOP

PROCEDURAL
ORDER NO. 28834
On June 12, 2001, the Commission issued a Notice and Order No. 28748 establishing a procedural schedule for this case to determine “Qwest’s forward-looking costs to be used in setting the prices for the elements and services contained in Qwest’s Statement of Generally Available Terms (SGAT).” That Notice stated that three workshops would be held, the first of which was scheduled for July 23, 2001. The purpose of the workshops is to provide an opportunity for the parties to reach consensus on prices for Qwest’s unbundled network elements. The Notice also indicated the workshops would be completed no later than August 31, 2001. The parties nonetheless have informed the Commission the second workshop will not convene until December 5, 2001, and that the third workshop has not been scheduled. Accordingly, it is necessary to adjust the procedural schedule set forth in Order No. 28748. The parties will propose a schedule for filing testimony and exhibits after the workshops are concluded.
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that a second workshop will convene in this case on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2001 AT 9:30 A.M. IN THE COMMISSION HEARING ROOM, 472 W. WASHINGTON STREET, BOISE, IDAHO.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all hearings and prehearing conferences in this matter will be held in facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. In order to participate, understand testimony and argument at a public hearing, persons needing the help of a sign language interpreter or other assistance may ask the Commission to provide a sign language interpreter or other assistance as required under the Americans with Disabilities Act. The request for assistance must be received at least five (5) working days before the hearing by contacting the Commission Secretary at:

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the procedural scheduled adopted in Order No. 28748 is modified to allow the parties additional time to schedule workshops prior to the filing of testimony. The parties are directed to propose a new procedural schedule once the workshops are completed.
