PERIOD
Qwest Communications Corporation (QCC), filed its Application for Amendment of
Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity on April 2, 2004, asking that the Commission
consider matter under modified procedure pursuant to Rule of Procedure 210 IDA? A
31.01.01.201. QCC now respectfully requests that the Commission issue its Notice of Modified
Procedure shortening the time in which interested persons are permitted to file comments to
fourteen days. QCC submits that the shortened time period is appropriate because the
Commission Staff and the Idaho Telephone Association, which represents the affected Idaho
incumbent telephone corporations, have had actual notice ofQCC's Application since it was
filed.
