MOTION TO MODIFY APPLICATION
Qwest Communications Corportation (QCC),by and throughits attorneys of record,
moves this Commission for its order permitting QCC to modify its application to exclude the
Idaho service territory in which Qwest Corporation operates as the incumbent local exchange
carrier from QCC's request for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN)to
operate as a competitive local exchange carrier.This requested modification,if granted,
would exclude Qwest Corporation's service territory in northern,as well as southern,Idaho.
QCC requests that the Commission grant this motion without prejudice to QCC's ability
to file an application to amend any CPCN granted on the amended application in this matter to
include Qwest Corporation territory at a later time.
